Weiss Attorneys at Law, is pleased to announce the expansion of its litigation practice with the addition of Richard D. Worth as an associate attorney. Mr. Worth will primarily focus on litigation, general business practice and real estate. He brings to the firm a background in insurance defense, as well as employee benefits and securities litigation.
Mr. Worth is a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he was inducted into the National Order of Scribes, recognizing five graduating law students who demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the area of legal writing. During law school, Mr. Worth served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Missouri Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Advocacy and Research. Mr. Worth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned academic all-conference honors while playing varsity football. During college, Mr. Worth was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Academic Greek Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Mr. Worth is licensed in Missouri and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Western District of Missouri. He is also a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Illinois State Bar Association.
